Sunday AM Hebrews 10:19-25 4-21-24
New Testament believers worship according to a “new and living
way”. The sinless sacrifice (Jesus) was offered on earth but accepted
in heaven. Jesus fulfilled the required demands of God’s holiness that
we could have boldness to come before Him.

B. One priest - Jesus still stands for us (v 19-21)
C. As long as He is there, we will have boldness to enter
1. Come boldly unto the throne of grace (Heb 4:16)
2. To obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need
II. Let Us Draw Near Heb 10:22
A. O. T. priesthood had ceremonial washing & sprinkling

1. Cleanse your hands...purify your hearts (James 4:8)
2. Washing of regeneration (Titus 3:5)
III. Let Us Hold Fast Heb 10:23
A. We have a sure & steadfast anchor for the soul (Heb 6:19)
B. No reason to waver, God keeps all of His promises
1. Kept by the power of God (I Peter 1:5)
2. The saved are to add to their faith (II Peter 1:5-10)
IV. Let Us Consider One Another Heb 10:24
A. Consider other members of church (Gal 6:10)
B. Motivating one another to love and good works
C. Faith, Hope and Love are linked in these three verses
1. Faith - Full assurance of faith (v 22)
2. Hope - Hold fast without wavering (v 23)
3. Love - provoke unto love (v 24)
Con. Told not to forsake the assembling of ourselves “together”
